Free apps to help you get moving (Even when we're not working together yet)

You might be wondering why I'm sharing a list of free apps instead of just telling you to come and work with me. Honestly? Because I genuinely want you to find something that works for you, wherever you are right now.

I know that working with me isn't the right fit for everyone at every stage; maybe the timing isn't right, maybe the budget isn't there, or maybe you just want to dip your toe into fitness before committing to anything. That's completely okay. What I offer is personalised, supportive coaching built around you as a woman your health, your hormones, your life. But if you're not in a position to do that right now, I still want you to have access to something good.

So, here are three free apps I'd genuinely recommend. I’m pleased to say they all include strength workouts because we know that resistance training is soooo important.

We Are Undefeatable

Best for: Women living with a long-term health condition who want to move more gently and safely.

This one is close to my heart. We Are Undefeatable is a campaign that started to support people with long-term conditions, things like arthritis, diabetes, depression, heart conditions, and more to find ways to be more active. Their free app offers tailored exercise programmes developed by qualified physiotherapists, and you can do them from the comfort of your own home, at whatever pace suits you that day.

What I love about it is that it meets you where you are. There are virtual group classes with a live host (so you get that sense of community without having to leave your house), and even virtual coffee mornings afterwards if you fancy a chat. It's completely free, no hidden subscription, and it's been designed with real inclusivity in mind.

Gymshark Training & Fitness

Best for: Women who are ready to get into a structured workout routine whether at home or in the gym and want variety without paying for it.

Don't let the Gymshark branding put you off if you're not a gym bunny. This app is actually brilliant, and it's 100% free with no subscription or hidden costs. You get access to hundreds of workouts and training plans, ranging from 15 to 90 minutes, covering everything from strength and HIIT to yoga, mobility, and stretching.

You can filter by equipment (or no equipment at all), body parts, duration, and fitness level, so it's easy to find something that fits your day. It's well-designed, clear to follow, and a great option if you want a bit more structure and progression to your training. A solid choice if you're feeling motivated and want to get consistent.

FitOn Workouts & Fitness Plans

Best for: Women who want variety, flexibility, and a bit of fun with their workouts and like the idea of working out alongside a friend.

FitOn is one of those apps that genuinely feels too good to be free. There's a huge library of workouts, cardio, HIIT, yoga, Pilates, Barre, dance, strength plus guided meditations and personalised workout plans. It's brilliant for fitting exercise into a busy life because most classes are just 10–30 minutes. You can access it on your phone, laptop, or even your TV.

There is a paid upgrade (FitOn Pro) that unlocks meal plans, recipes, and offline downloads, but honestly the free version is genuinely generous and a great starting point.

I hope one of these feels like a good fit for where you are right now. Even small, consistent movement makes a real difference to how we feel physically and mentally.

And when you're ready for something more personalised support that takes into account your body, your health history, and your goals as a woman I'd love to hear from you.
